The reality of living in Hong Kong’s densest apartments | Instagram Famous "Monster Building"

My home décor store: Hong Kong is famous for its density of population. The famous concrete jungle Monster Building is a perfect reflection of dense housing in a megapolis. As probably the most Instagrammed site, it meets tourists all around the world every day. But have you wondered what it’s like to live in it as a real resident? Well, luckily I have a chance to present to you what I see from living in one of the small apartments out of the concrete giant. Check the video and I will guide you in! FAQ: 1. Do you still live there? No, we moved to mainland China in 2020. 2. Did both of you live in that apartment? No, it was rented solely by my boyfriend. I lived in another apartment but I often visited him. 3. How much was the rent? The rent was USD 1,000 (HKD 7,800) per month. 4. How big was the apartment? Quarry Bay, east Hong Kong island. 7. How old are the buildings? They were built in the 60s. 8. How many people live in there? The five blocks consist of 2243 apartments and can house 10,000 people.
