After the unit was purchased, the owners discovered many quality issues and design flaws, which they wanted to address through design. The 735-square foot unit has three bedrooms and a main set. The owners wanted to create a dark and hotel-like atmosphere, which meant using non-white walls, such as gray-toned bamboo fiberboards with waterproof capabilities, decorated with rose gold steel strips, and various styles of wall coverings. Paint was not recommended due to Hong Kong’s hot and humid climate and the short duration of renovation projects. The unit had many problems, including poor quality walls, multiple seats, the LV hall blocking the view and light, and the air conditioner cooling rack outside the master room.
