Easy Property Inspection Group recently conducted a building inspection of the OCEAN MARINI phase of Sunrise Lohas Park, a new housing project co-developed by Wheelock and MTR. The OCEAN MARINI phase consists of two wings, with a total of 503 large to medium-sized units ranging from two to four bedrooms with workshops. The inspected unit was a two-bedroom apartment on the upper floors of Block 1B with a salable area of 542 square feet. According to building inspector Lai Daming, the unit scored a 96 and only minor defects were found, mainly related to uneven paint, slight cuts, and stains. He noted that there has been a significant improvement in glass protection compared to previous phases. The unit features a stem kitchen and cannot have its walls and fire-resistant doors removed without permission, which would violate mutual deeds and put the owner at risk. Overall, the OCEAN MARINI phase is the last to launch but the first block of the estate, with no one-bedroom units and a focus on larger unit sizes.
