However, in the face of high property prices, as a small citizen, how can you achieve your dream of getting in a car? Sham Shui Po is one of the poorest areas in Hong Kong. But the characteristic of Sham Shui Po people is that they are not afraid of hardships and work hard day and night for their families and meals. The protagonist, Ah Hui, grew up on Yaliu Street and is a fledgling accountant. Unfortunately the company went bankrupt. As property prices fell, his girlfriend Grace felt it was time to get married and get in the car. Buying a home is also Ah Hui’s dream, but he doesn’t have a new job, so he doesn’t dare to promise. What followed was Ah Hui’s struggle to get on the bus. It brings out the spirit of Hong Kong people who can bend and stretch, and make unremitting efforts to pursue their dreams even in adversity.
